OT can be a great career. School is challenging with a steep learning curve, but OT’s and OTA’s have a good job outlook with many opportunities in the health care field. OT has a low rate of “burnout” due to the ability to work with people throughout the lifespan, from infants to elderly people, and in many settings, from hospitals to mental health facilities and children’s clinics. If you want a life long career that can incorporate nature and horses, consider Occupational Therapy!
