Equine Assisted Therapy

Hippotherapy is a term used to describe the use of equine movement by trained occupational, physical and speech therapists. Mane Stream also offers physical and speech therapy using the movement of the horse.

Gina Taylor, MS, OT, HPCS  is a PATH certified riding, driving and vaulting instructor, Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning and PATH registered therapist.  She is a faculty member and former board of Director for the American Hippotherapy Association.   She is an active presenter and educator on Equine Assisted Therapy and promotes the safe, effective use of horses as part of her occupational therapy treatments.  Hippotherapy is provided at Mane Stream.
